Is it easier to remember this move by X Guard Cross Over Shoulder Leg holding Sweep? What is Y Guard Concept?
That is one of the ways to remember, no doubt. Later you will different ways to teach the same point and later your goal should be to feel you can set up your attacks without being in danger. Y guard is basically a combination of different concepts, such as X, half guard, close guard, 5050… together in a , yet, unique way.

@@FelipeCostaBJJ Ho praticato Aikido, non arrivi a questa situazione, lo blocchi prima di farti prendere per le ginocchia. Chiedi a Steven Seagal lol Forse in palestra o nelle competizioni sportive le persone ti prendono per le ginocchia, nella vita reale, in una rissa, uno usano calci e pugni. Ho visto un video di passagem toreando, quando gli tiri la ginocchia, prima cosa l'altro non tiene le sue mani attaccate alle maniche della tua tuta ( in una vera rissa), ma cerca di usare le sue mani in altro modo, seconda cosa, mentre lo fai roteare, la tua faccia e' talmente scoperta e vicina all'avversario, che con un destro-sinistro, sei gia' per terra. lol
